MISCELLANEOUS – This Friday morning, the Australian media 10 News First revealed that the back of the Wallabies Kutley Beale (34 years old, 95 selections) had been arrested by the Australian police. The current Waratahs player is accused of sexual assault for facts dating back to December 2022.
Kurtley Beale is currently being heard by Sydney Police. The Waratahs fullback, who joined Australia at the end of last season after his move to Racing 92, is accused of sexual assault in his home country. He allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in a Bondi Beach hotel bathroom in Sydney on December 17. According to information from Australian media 10 News First, the woman in question reported the incident to the police in December, before an investigation was carried out. Beale was therefore finally arrested this Friday, January 20 and is currently heard by the police.
At 34, Beale had decided to return to Australia to prepare for the 2023 World Cup with the Wallabies. He had signed up with the Waratahs franchise (New South Wales) after spending two years in the Racing 92 jersey. An emblematic face of the Australian selection, Beale has played 95 games in the Wallabies jersey. He has already participated in three World Cups with Australia.
